How would you build drones, planes, cars,
without the understanding of mechanics?
Usually, Mechanical Engineers develop the CAD modeling
for simple and complex designs to insure that
mechanically everything would integrate properly.
Those CAD models are used to make the structures
you see come out of the 3D modeling machines.
Fun Fact:
Our body is mechanical.
WE use our hands, arms, feet, and legs similar to how complex systems work together.
